Students Go To Work For Wounded Vets

They will be walking to raise money for the Wounded Warriors project.

The Wounded Warriors Project is a nationally-recognized non-profit organization that provides both mental and physical aide to current veterans.

A group of students from local high schools in the Plymouth-Canton community are tonight holding a fund raiser that they are calling ‘a walk for warriors.’

All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Wounded Warriors Project.

It is taking place until 9 tonight at Heritage Park in Canton Township.

Organizers say it is a family-friendly event that will feature a walkathon, entertainment, speakers and a children’s booth.
