State Political Parties Finalize Candidates

Michigan Democrats finalized their ticket for fall elections , formally nominating candidates for statewide office.
Attorney General candidate Dana Nessel, Secretary of State candidate Jocelyn Benson and Supreme Court candidates Megan Cavanagh and Sam Bagenstos – all endorsed at a party convention in March — were also formally nominated for the ballot .

Benson has run and lost for that position.
Republicans on Saturday nominated Tom Lenard , the Michigan House speaker, for Attorney General, and Mary Treder Lang for Secretary of State.
Republicans have two incumbent Supreme Court nominees… Elizabeth Clement and Kurt Wilder.
These candidates will appear under the candidates for governor and U-S Senate on the ballots.
