U-M Nurses Threaten Strike

Unionized nurses at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor have authorized a strike in a contract dispute. The nurses union has not set a date for a strike. Michigan Medicine says a strike would put patient care at risk.
The Professional Nurses Council represents 57-hundred nurse at the U of M Hospital and employees at Michigan Medicine facilities.
The nurses accuse management of violating their workplace rights.
