New Michigan Laws, Regs Go Into Effect

New laws and regulations take effect today.
Mail-order and online retailers located outside of the state must pay a 6-percent sales tax on their sales to state residents.

Drivers who had owed too much from tickets or fines under the old law and were stripped of their licenses, can now apply to have them reinstated.
