Schools Left In Lurch For Subs

More than 100 school districts have had to scramble to make sure all of their classrooms had teachers,.when a substitute teaching contractor shut down.

Professional Educational Services Group announced it was stopping all operations in Michigan immediately .

The group supplied up to 2,000 substitute school teachers throughout the state.
They are now encouraging anyone to who was employed by the group to contact their local school districts to sign up and obtain work directly from the districts. And that’s what has happened in some districts. Dearborn schools tells WJR subs contacted them, and their staff worked into the night and this morning lining up their roster of subs.
