Officials Try To Stop Violence At A School

Administrators in the Warren Fitzgerald school district are meeting today to plan student assemblies related to conflict resolution.

The move comes in the aftermath of a near riot in a big fight at Warren Fitzgerald High School.

Authorities say some 20 students had stomped on a boy and his sister.

There were several arrests. The charges include inciting to riot.

Fitzgerald High School was also the scene of a fatal stabbing of a female student earlier this year.

A second female student who was charged is undergoing a mental exam to see if she is fit to stand trial.
