Get Ready For Big Building Projects

Two  massive construction projects are slated to get underway in Detroit before the end of the year.

Ford Motor Company says it expects to start construction on the renovation of the Michigan train depot.

The 740-million project is expected to be completed some time in 2022.

The automaker expects to have 25-hundred employees work out of the restored train station.

Meantime, groundbreaking for the 830-million dollar Monroe Blocks development is also expected to get underway shortly.

The area is a mostly vacant two-block-square area near Cadillac Square.

It will be turned into a combination of office and retail space and 482 residential units.,
