A mystery donor dropped a coin worth $1,300 into a Red Kettle at a Kroger store.
The Salvation Army’s benefactor dropped a 1980 South African gold Krugerrand into a red kettle at the Kroger on Marter in St. Clair Shores.
Since 2013 someone has deposited a Krugerrand into the red bucket at the same location.
