Chemical Bank will acquire T-C-F Bank. The new bank company will be named T-C-F Bank.
This is the latest expansion of the bank, which is based on the creation of Talmer Bank. Talmer took over Chemical, kept the name, and now Chemical takes over T-C-F, for 3 pt 6 billion dollars in stock.
The new bank company will be one of the 50 largest banks in the U-S, and headquartered in Detroit. It plans to build a new headquarters.
