Chicago Auto Show Time

The auto industry turns attention to Chicago. it’s the country’s largest auto show in terms of visitors and venue.

Chicago doesn’t have as many new vehicle reveals or the international media power as the Detroit show.
But it’s the biggest in terms of attendance, and showplace.
This year’s Chicago event has 4 indoor test tracks and 6 outdoor test drive areas at McCormick Place, the mammoth convention center.

Automakers will still take the wraps off several important vehicles.

Ford will introduce a Super Duty pickup with a new interior, grille, and powertrain.

Chevy and GMC will feature heavy duty pickups seen for the first time at an auto show.
Ram will show off a 3500 chassis cab, a big commercial truck.
Toyota, a freshened Tacoma pickup and a 60th anniversary Land Cruiser.
While Lexus, Mazda, and Volkswagen will unveil sporty passenger cars,
Chicago will stick to it’s usual theme, heavy on pickup trucks, reflecting midwestern muscle.

The Paul W Smith show will broadcast from Chicago.
