It’s back to the courtroom today for the child support case of Detroit Tiger Miguel Cabrera. Cabrera has been fighting a judge’s ruling in Florida that requires him to pay 20-thousand dollars a month in child support for a woman who bore him 2 children during a 5-year affair.
He believes the 13-thousand dollars a month he had been paying was more appropriate.
Cabrera has long said his ex-mistress was a gold digger trying to cash in on his wealth.
He makes 30-million dollars a year.
A hearing on the judge’s order for the higher child support payments is scheduled for today in Florida’s Orange County Circuit court.
