Relatives say a 9 year old boy who shot and killed his adoptive mother in southwest Michigan has mental problems. Authorities say 51 year old Pauline Randol was shot to death at their home by the 9 year old, who shot her with a rifle.
The family says the boy was adopted from a mother who had drug problems. The family says the boy started getting medication for his problems last week.
Neighbors say the boy would sometimes shoot at other kids with a B-B gun.
