More Fallout From Restart Of Flint Water Probe

Several state government employees will be allowed to return to work after Attorney General Dana Nessel dismissed  pending court cases in the Flint water investigation.

Five employees had been on paid suspensions since they were charged by the former Attorney General Bill Schuette.
Two of them had been charged with covering up a report on lead levels in the blood of Flint children. Another was charged with being the official who failed to take action on corrosion controls when Flint changed from Detroit water to using the Flint River to save money.
A leading water scientist, Dr. Marc Edwards of Virginia Tech, was highly critical of plea bargaining with defendants in an interview with WJR.

A new investigation has started, and charges could be re-filed against the same people.
