Son Faces Sentencing For Dismembering Ex-Judge’s Body

The son of a former Detroit area judge will be sentenced tomorrow in Florida for cutting up the body of his father and burying the body parts at a golf course. That’s not the only bizarre part of the story.

50 year old Jimmy Scandirito was found not guilty of murdering his father, 74 year old James Scadirito Senior, at his home in Boca Raton.
Jimmy Junior was found guilty of dismembering the body.
Jimmy testified his father died of natural causes, and that he panicked, because he’d been drinking and using drugs.

And, Scandirito Junior  could make such a claim because the elder Scandirito’s head and arms were never found. The Medical Examiner could not determine how he was killed.

Scandirito Senior was known as Skip Scadirito when he was a local judge in Macomb County. He was forced off the bench for giving court favors in exchange for sex.
Scandirito Junior claims that, since he was acquitted of murder, he’s in line to inherit his father’s 800-thousand dollar estate. The rest of the family has disowned him.
