Auto Parts Strike Ends In Saline

9 hours after walking off the job, workers at the Faurecia parts plant in Saline are ending a strike. The UAW and the company announced a tentative contract agreement.
Members of local 892 were told they will receive the terms of the agreement on Monday and a ratification vote would take place next week.
Workers said the strike was over pay, working conditions, and their demand for profit-sharing. The injection molding plant makes instrument panels, consoles and other interior parts. It’s a former Ford and Visteon plant.
