Eminem’s father has died.
Marshall Mathers Jr. died near Fort Wayne, Indiana. According to TMZ he suffered a heart attack while at home.
Eminem expressed his lifelong grudge against his father and rapped about never meeting him in person.
Eminem’s mother says they got married when he was 22 and she was 15.
Eminem’s mother says the father left the family early and moved to California, and never saw his son again. Mathers Jr. was 67.
