Facial ID Surveillance Questioned By DPD Board

Detroit Police board of commissioners will decide whether to put facial recognition software on the Project Greenlight video camera’s. Project Greenlight has cut crime. It has video surveillance cameras located in many gas stations and stores, and other public places.
Facial recognition would help cut crime some more, but opponents argue it’s an invasion of privacy.
Other cities are debating the same issue.
