Accused LGBTQ Killer In Court

A Detroit man is due in court today for a preliminary exam on charges that he killed three people because of their sexual preferences.

19 year old Devon Robinson is facing three counts of first degree murder.

The victims, 21 year old Alunte Davis, 20 year old Paris Cameron and 20 year old Timothy Blancher, were all killed on May 25th.

Prosecutors say they were targeted because of their sexual identities.

They said Davis and Blancher were gay men and that Cameron was a transgender woman.

Robinson was arrested following an investigation that included the help of the nonprofit Fair Michigan Foundation, which assists law enforcement officials solve serious crimes against lesbians, gay, bisexuals and transgenders
