Flint Town Hall On Water

Angry residents are expected to demand answers at a town hall meeting today in Flint.
The town hall meeting was scheduled in the aftermath of state Attorney General Dana Nessel’s announcement that all criminal charges were being dropped stemming from the investigation into the Flint water crises.

Nessel made the announcement after Solicitor General Fadwa Hammoud, the special prosecutor Nessel appointed to oversee the Flint criminal probe, had filed a motion dismissing the eight cases that had been pending.

Hammoud and Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy will head a new criminal probe.

Both are scheduled to address residents at the town hall meeting.

Residents say they want to be assured that someone will be held accountable for what happened in Flint.
