Catastrophic Claims Fees Increase

Auto insurance fees are changing in Michigan.
They’re going up.
The Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association, which reimburses insurers for unlimited personal injury protection benefits, is increasing the annual fee to $220 per year – a $28 increase per vehicle. It goes into effect today.
The fund has come under fire for increases and for not revealing full details about it’s finances.
The association blames the increase on rising costs of coverage.
