Police Look For Gas Station Killer

Detroit police are searching for a 23-year-old man for a deadly beating after a crash.

Lawrence Davis, is for the fatal beating of Tyler Wingate of Detroit at a gas station.
The attack followed a car crash involving Davis and Wingate.
Davis has a long history of violence.
Chief Craig says police don’t know why Davis attacked the victim.

“It’s an example of the kind of violence that we see, when anger goes out of control,” says Craig.

Tyler Wingate had moved to Detroit from Berkley, and was rehabbing a home.
His family says he loved Detroit and wanted to be part of the city’s comeback.

White ribbons can be seen in Berkley, to remember Tyler and to support his family.
