DPD Cop Takes Numbers

A preliminary exam has been scheduled for today for a Detroit police officer charged with two counts of misconduct in office.

Investigators say Chancellor Searcy had made two traffic stops of women last year and in both cases made the women give him their phone numbers in exchange for not giving them tickets.

Both women say they then started receiving unwanted calls and texts from Searcy.
