GM Opens $65 Million Parts Center

Mr. Goodwrench would feel right at home at the new General Motors parts center which has opened near Flint.

GM opens a new parts processing center in Burton, for A-C Delco and GM Genuine Parts. The state of the art facility will have more than 800 hourly and salaried employees.

The parts facility supports the service and repair operations for dealers, parts stores, and ultimately consumers.
GM says internal studies show that purchase loyalty is directly tied to service loyalty.
Consultants at I-H-S Markit rank GM as having the highest customer loyalty among all automakers who sell in the U-S for the last 4 years.

The new facility is 1 pt 1 million square feet, triple the size of the old parts center.
It will package and send about 120 million service parts a year.
