Accused Killers Targeting Gays In Court

For the second time in two weeks the Wayne County Prosecutors office has filed charges against men suspect of killing gays in the city.

A preliminary exam is scheduled for today for 2 Detroit men, 28 year old Anthony Brock and 30 year old Darnell Wilson.

They are charged in the slaying of Diano Johnson.

Last week, 26 year old Demetrious Nelson was bound over for trial on charges of killing two gay men that he had located on a social networking app.

Prosecutor Kym Worthy says both cases involved the assistance of the Fair Michigan Justice Project which was formed to protect victims who are targeted because of their sexual orientation.
