A Monroe County mother is pleading with doctors to keep her son on life support and not pull the plug. 14 year old Bobby Reyes of Ash Twp. suffered an asthma attack a week ago. Doctors at the Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor believe the boy is brain dead. Another test was to be performed today. A lawyer for the family was to go to court to seek an injunction to bar doctors from taking the boy off life support.
Michigan Medicine says if the family chooses to go to another hospital they will help transport the patient.
The family, and their supporters, say they want more time to see if God would perform a miracle.
