EPA Chief In Detroit

The head of the Environmental Protection Agency spoke to the Detroit Economic Club about a Trump Administration and congressional  program for the Great Lakes.
Andrew Wheeler said he was in Detroit to  introduce the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative number 3 .

Wheeler tells the Frank Beckmann show that the program combats toxic substances, invasive species, agriculture runoff, habitat for wildlife, and future restoration actions.
Democrats are attacking Wheeler’s appearance in Detroit. For example, Flint congressman Dan Kildee accuses the Trump administration of helping corporate polluters to increase pollution in the Great Lakes. Kildee says Andrew Wheeler has a lot of nerve being in Michigan.

Wheeler says critics do not have the facts to support their statements.
