A mother and her daughter are dead …. the innocent victims of a man wanting to hurt someone else.
24 year old Dmarco Latham of Detroit is due in court today to face murder and arson charges.
Prosecutors say Lathan was angry with the mother of his children and set fire to her apartment building on Brace Street in Detroit just after 7:30 the night of October 8th.
But the woman and her children weren’t home.
A 31 year old woman and her 2 year old daughter were.
They lived in an upper apartment and were trapped in the fire and killed.
