Warren Mayor Jim Fouts won re-election to a four-year term as mayor, beating opponent City Councilwoman Kelly Colegio
Maureen Miller Brosnan was elected mayor of Livonia.
Sheldon Neely defeated incumbent mayor Karen Weaver in Flint.
School bond issues and renewals were passed in the Detroit area.
Marijuana ballot proposals:
Voters passed it in Lincoln Park, but defeated proposals in Allen Park, Walled lake and Keego Harbor.
A big school bond issue was approved in Ann Arbor. At 1-billion dollars, it’s the largest passed in SE Michigan in 25 years.
