Part of I-75 will close tonight in south Oakland County.
Northbound I-75 will close from 8 Mile to Square Lake beginning at 11 p.m.
Southbound I-75 will be closed from I-696 to 8 Mile Rd.
The closure is needed to demolish four bridges over the freeway in Hazel Park for an upcoming traffic shift from 13 Mile to Coolidge Highway. Those bridges are Meyers Rd., Woodward Heights Blvd., John R. and Harry St.
Both directions of I-75 will reopen to traffic by 5 a.m. Monday.
