State Says 80 Have CV In Mich

The state said last night there were 11 new cases of CV in Michigan, bringing the total to 65. But Dr. Joneigh Khaldun, the state chief medical officer, says the number is higher.

“We have 80 confirmed positive tests in Michigan, but that is just the tip of the iceberg,” says Dr. Khaldun.

“There are many more, likely hundreds more, who have the disease.”

Khaldun was on the Paul W. Smith show.

The state will update the figures at 2 pm.
