DPS Students Get Tested To Attend Summer School

All students in Detroit Public schools were required to be tested for corona virus or they were not allowed to show up for classes today.
Summer school stopped last week after a protest group went to federal court to shut down in-person classes. They succeeded temporarily as a judge ruled every student must be tested. some students are expected back in class and others will not be there. Superintendent Dr. Nikolai Vitti said he believes all of it was judicial overreach. More than 600 students are taking voluntary classes.
