Labor Day Walk Canceled, But Not Jazz

Many Labor Day attractions have been called off or are being streamed. One of the most popular events, the annual Labor Day walk across the Mackinac Bridge, has been canceled. The event, which started in 1958, normally attracts between 25 and 57-thousand visitors.
Closer to home, this year’s annual Detroit Jazz Festival will be a streaming event. It gets underway later this morning and will run through Monday night. Some of the top jazz talent will be taking part in this weekend’s shows.
