Cezanne Painting Bought By Edsel Ford To Be Auctioned

A Cezanne painting bought by Edsel Ford in 1933 is being auctioned off today at Christie’s Auction House in New York. Paul Cezanne was a French Post-Impressionist master who died in 1906. Being auctioned off is a  watercolor still life featuring a milk pitcher, melon and sugar bowl, finished just before the artist died. It’s estimated price … 25 million dollars. All proceeds from the sale will go for the endowment of the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe.
