WASHINGTON DC, January 19, 2020 ~ President-Elect Joe Biden and Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris arrived with their spouses Tuesday in Washington D.C. Their first stop ahead of Wednesday’s Inauguration was the Reflecting Pool at the Lincoln Memorial, where 400 lights were lit at sundown to honor the more than 400,000 Americans who have died as a result of the Coronavirus Pandemic.
Livonia Nurse Lori Key, who reached national viral video prominence last year for her soulful COVID ward singing of “Amazing Grace,” sang that song in a stirring and emotional tribute to those we have lost.
