General Motors Suspends Vehicle Exports to Russia

DETROIT, March 4, 2022 ~ General Motors and multiple other auto manufacturers are suspending business in Russia due to the ongoing invasion of Ukraine.

According to GM Spokesman George Svigos, the automotive giant only sells around 3,000 Chevrolet and Cadillac vehicles per year in Russia. He stated the suspension was “due to a number of external factors, including supply chain issues and other matters beyond the company’s control.
