Miller Hearing to Determine if Ethan Crumbley Should Face Life in Prison

July 28, 2023 ~ Friday was day two of a hearing for confessed Oxford High School shooter Ethan Crumbley to decide if he should face life in prison without a chance of parole.

Crumbley, 17, took part in a Miller hearing, which is held before a sentencing hearing to determine if a minor should face life in prison without parole. Many of Oxford’s students and staff who survived the 2021 shooting gave emotional testimonies at the hearing.
