July 28, 2023 ~ Survivors of sexual assault from former Michigan State University sports doctor Larry Nassar recently filed a lawsuit, alleging that university officials made secret votes to not release documents related to his widespread abuse.

The lawsuit seeks accountability, not money, for the group of survivors from MSU, which has faced criticism for its handling of the Nassar investigation. It alleges university officials and trustees refused to give over 6,000 documents to the Michigan Attorney General’s Office for an investigation into how he was able to get away with his abuse, along with emails pertaining to behind-the-scenes decisions over these documents.

WJR Senior News Analyst Lloyd Jackson spoke more about the lawsuit on “JR Morning.”
