Meteorologist Discusses Seven Tornadoes that Ripped Through Michigan Last Week

Aug. 28, 2023 ~ During the storm last Thursday’s that roared through Michigan and left five people dead, a whopping seven tornadoes tore up the mitten state.

Three of the tornadoes touched down in Wayne County, two in neighboring Monroe County, and one in Kent County. The strongest one however, an EF-2 tornado, ripped through Ingham and Livingston counties.

Former WDIV meteorologist Paul Gross spoke more about the rash of tornadoes last week and how the increase in severe weather is related to climate change on “JR Morning with Guy Gordon.”
