Sept. 8, 2023 ~ Democrat lawmakers in Michigan introduced legislation Wednesday aiming to take down more laws in the state that restrict abortions.
The 11-bill package introduced in the State House by Democrat State Rep. Laurie Pohutsky (D-Livonia) would repeal a 24-hour waiting period to receive an abortion, stop “unnecessary” building codes for abortion clinics, and let abortion-related services be covered by Medicaid. Pohutsky spoke more about the bills on “JR Morning with Guy Gordon.”
