DETROIT, Sept. 21, 2023 ~ A popular clothing brand in Detroit is currently figuring out a path forward after its location in Eastern Market crumbled.
The building located at 2501 Russell St. partially collapsed Sunday, which injured one person, and has demolition orders from the city. The building now deemed too dangerous to enter housed the clothing brand Detroit Vs. Everybody, with founder Tommey Walker saying the business will lose merchandise, prized memorabilia, and the ground-floor space he remodeled.
Jabs Gym Detroit, Beyond Juicery & Eatery, Brooklyn Outdoor, and j’adore Detroit also occupied the building. All businesses in the building are currently evaluating losses.
