UAW Announces More Strikes Against GM and Stellantis

DETROIT, Sept. 22, 2023 ~ During a Facebook livestream Friday morning, UAW President Shawn Fain announced more targeted strikes against Stellantis NV and General Motors.

Fain called for 38 distribution centers to strike against the two automakers by noon Friday, taking place a week after all three autoworkers faced targeted strikes from nearly 13,000 workers. Ford Motor Co. avoided more strikes due to making significant progress in the negotiations, according to the union.
