DETROIT, Oct. 20, 2023 ~ The 33rd Annual Detroit Goodfellows Tribute Breakfast took place Friday, honoring Detroit Pistons Vice Chairman Arn Tellem and BasBlue CEO/former CBS Television Network President Nancy Tellem as the Edward H. McNamara Goodfellows of the Year.
The event took place at Detroit’s Huntington Place to raise money for Christmas gift packages given to 30,000 Detroit-area children in need, along with funding a shoe program, dental program, camperships, and college scholarships. The breakfast was hosted by 760 WJR‘s Paul W. Smith, and was attended by Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, Detroit Police Chief James White, Detroit Goodfellows President Beth Conley, and many more to donate money and honor the Tellems.
“For both of us, we are so proud to be a part of this community and this is a wonderful organization that does so many great things for young children in Detroit,” Arn Tellem said to WJR’s Guy Gordon, Lloyd Jackson, and Jamie Edmonds.
