DETROIT, Nov. 30, 2023 ~ Following a historic strike and labor contracts with Detroit‘s Big Three automakers, the UAW announced Wednesday that workers at 13 nonunion auto manufacturers are looking to organize.

Tesla, Toyota, BMW, Volkswagen, and Nissan were among the companies whose workers are signing electronic cards on the UAW’s website to openly call for unionization. The union said in a statement that this union campaign will cover about 150,000 workers.
