Detroit is Set to Record Lowest Number of Homicides Since 1966

DETROIT, Dec. 5, 2023 ~ Detroit is on track to record its lowest number of homicides since 1966, according to city officials. From Jan. 1 to Nov. 30 of this year, there were 228 homicides in Detroit, an 18% decrease from the roughly 275 homicides during the same time frame in 2022.
