Holtec International is looking to revive the Palisades Nuclear Power Plant in Covert Township, south of Holland, along with installing two new reactors. Receiving about $150 million in state funding for the restoration, anti-nuclear activists are concerned about how the company can maintain the plant that closed in May 2022 due to a degrading seal that controls the atomic reaction.
