DETROIT, Feb. 1, 2024 ~ General Motors has reversed its decision to abandon hybrid vehicles in North America by announcing plans to introduce plug-in hybrid cars. GM CEO Mary Barra told investors in a Tuesday conference call that the hybrid electric/combustion engine technology will be offered in select vehicles amid slow growth for all-electric vehicle sales.
