EAST LANSING, May 1, 2024 ~ The wife of disgraced former Michigan State University head football coach Mel Tucker has filed for divorce, accusing him of transferring money from their joint bank account without her knowledge.
Jo Ellyn Tucker was granted a restraining order in Ingham County’s 30th Circuit Court, where she accused Mel Tucker of taking $1.5 million from their shared account to pay for his legal fees. Tucker was fired by the university last year after he sexually harassed rape survivor and sexual assault advocate Brenda Tracy, who was hired to educate the football team.
