July 21, 2024 ~ Donald Trump rode momentum out of the Republican National Convention and into the battleground state of Michigan Saturday, where he held a high-energy rally in front of a capacity crowd inside Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids

The high-security rally, which was Trump’s first since the attempt on his life one week earlier, drew more than 12,000 loyalists to see newly-minted VP running mate, Ohio Senator J.D. Vance, introduce the now official Republican nominee.

As we look towards the future, President Trump’s potential re-election fills us with hope,” Vance told the audience. “His commitment to ‘Make America Great Again’ is not just a slogan, but a pledge to restore our nation’s glory, uphold our values, and ensure that every American can achieve their dreams.

(CONTINUED) Trump, who spoke for nearly two hours, reiterated themes regularly featured during his rally speeches, including border security, law and order, election integrity, energy independence, and a popular topic with the Michigan audience, the automotive industry.

Under the radical Democrat policies, the U.S. auto industry is being decimated,” said Trump. “When I’m back in the White House, the way they (automakers) will sell their product in America is to build it in America.”

“To further protect Michigan autoworkers, I will end the Biden-Harris electric vehicle mandate on day one.

Former President Trump is headed next to Charlotte, North Carolina, where he is expected to hold a rally at the Bojangles Coliseum Wednesday.
