WASHINGTON D.C., July 25, 2024 ~ President Joe Biden addressed the nation Wednesday evening to explain his decision to step down from the presidential race.

I revere this office, but I love my country more,” Biden said in his address, following him passing the torch to Vice President Kamala Harris last weekend after he continued to lag behind former President Donald Trump in the polls. He continued to throw his support for the vice president, and seemingly  warned against another Trump term by saying, “Presidents are not kings.
