Slotkin Ahead of Rogers in Senate Race, According


MICHIGAN, July 29, 2024 ~ New polls show Democrats are gaining ground in key electoral races in Michigan.

A poll commissioned by the Detroit News and WDIV-TV last week found that Democrat U.S. Rep. Elissa Slotkin (MI-7) is ahead of the former Republican U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers in Michigan‘s U.S. Senate race at 46% and 41%. Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are tied at 49% in a new Fox News poll in Michigan, a critical swing state in the presidential general election, a bump from President Joe Biden‘s poll numbers in the state before dropping out of the race.
